Using Clubface
These terms are an agreement between you and Clubface, LLC, which makes Clubface. You need to be 13 or older to use it. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian should agree to these terms with you.
Your account
- One person per account. Don’t pretend to be someone else.
- Keep your sign-in to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.
Your content
- What you film and post is yours.
- You give us permission to store it, process it on your phone or our servers, show it to the people your settings allow, and use it to train and test Clubface’s software. When you delete it, it comes off Clubface, and we may keep a copy only to train and test our software. That permission ends when you delete your account, and the copies are deleted with it.
- Only post what you have the right to post: your own swings, friends who are happy to be posted, and a child under 13 only if you’re their parent or guardian or have one’s OK.
Community rules
- Be decent. Golfers come here to share their swings and learn.
- No harassment, threats or hate. No nudity or sexual content. No spam or ads.
- Don’t post anyone else’s content without permission, or anyone who doesn’t want to be filmed.
- We can remove posts that break these rules and pause or close accounts. Report anything that does, from the post or profile’s menu.
Clubface Pro and payments
- Clubface Pro is $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year in the US. Prices in other countries follow the App Store.
- It’s paid through your Apple ID and renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your iPhone’s Settings, under your name, Subscriptions.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. If a price changes, you’ll be told first, as Apple requires.
- The free plan keeps 50 saved swings. Past 50, the oldest leave after 7 days’ notice; starred swings leave last, and when every swing is starred the oldest starred one leaves. Swings you’ve posted don’t count.
- When Pro ends, your backed-up swings stay for 30 days so you can download them.
No guarantees
- The ball’s flight, the club’s path and your numbers beside tour players’ are read from video by software and can be wrong. They aren’t coaching or medical advice.
- Put your phone somewhere a ball or club can’t reach, and swing where it’s safe to.
- Clubface is provided as it is, without warranties beyond what the law requires.
Limits of liability
As far as the law allows, Clubface, LLC isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and its total liability to you is limited to what you paid for Clubface in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings, Account, and everything you’ve stored with us goes with it, training copies included. We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms, and we’ll tell you why unless the law or safety stops us.
Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn’t responsible for Clubface or its support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
Governing law and who we are
Clubface is made by Clubface, LLC, 7901 4th St N, STE 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33702. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, and disputes go to the state and federal courts serving Pinellas County, Florida.
Changes
We’ll post changes here, with the date at the top. For a change that matters, the app will tell you before it takes effect.
